About SimpliSoft

We take the slowest parts of how a company works and make them easy. Most of our clients are logistics companies moving serious volume, alongside startups that need to build properly from the start. We are a small team on purpose: short lines, fast decisions, and no layers between you and the person using what you built.

What you will work on

• Complete portals for our clients: data model, backend and interface, not one slice of it.
• Getting data out of systems that were never designed to give it up, and making it reliable.
• Dashboards, reports, alerts and tools people open every day.
• AI on top: reporting, search and agents that do real work, in the product and not in a demo.
• The infrastructure it all runs on, because we host it ourselves.

How we build

TypeScript on both sides: React and Next.js, Node.js and PostgreSQL. Linux and Docker on our own servers in Europe; client data does not go to the large cloud providers. For AI we use hosted models through APIs and models on our own hardware, depending on what the data allows.

How we work

• We move fast. You ship to production in your first weeks, with review.
• We use AI tooling every day, and you stay critical of what it produces. The code with your name on it is yours.
• You are close to the client: on calls, hearing the real problem.
• Feedback is direct and about the work, and we expect it back.
• Not everything is documented. Try it, look it up, then ask. Getting stuck is fine, staying stuck quietly is not.

Almost all of this can be taught, and it will be. What we cannot teach is the willingness to learn at this pace.

What we are looking for

• No specific diploma or years of experience. You can build things and have something to show for it.
• You follow software and AI, and try new things yourself.
• You write code other people can read and maintain.
• Dutch internally, and good English for our international clients.
• You live within reasonable travel distance of Amsterdam and can be on site regularly.

A first conversation, a technical session where we work through a real problem together, and a final conversation. No take-home assignment that eats your weekend.
