Our Story
We started inside a freight operation
Tom van der Wagt and Danny Arendse founded SimpliSoft after seeing the same thing at every logistics company they knew. Plenty of data, plenty of systems, and still people typing documents over by hand.
Our first big project was a compliance portal for Qcargo Solutions. Partner verification went from days to minutes. After that came the connection with Scope by Riege Software and Exact Online: dashboards, a shipment monitor and partner screening on top of the systems forwarders already run.
Together that became the SimpliSoft Portal: SimpliDash, SimpliComply, SimpliOps, SimpliAgents and SimpliCompany in one login. We still build custom software too. It keeps us close to real problems, and it is where most Portal modules started.

We use the newest AI where it saves real time, and keep it simple enough that people actually use it.
Close to the work
We sit in on calls, look at the actual files and ask the follow-up question ourselves. No layers between you and the people who build.
Your data, in Europe
We are EU based, and the Portal is hosted entirely in the EU, on servers we manage ourselves. We keep client data away from US cloud services wherever we can, and say so where we cannot.
The Team
Founded by two, built by a team
Tom and Danny lead SimpliSoft. Around them works a growing team of developers and data specialists, who build the Portal and the custom software for our clients.
Tom van der Wagt
Co-founder
Leads product, architecture and engineering. Tom builds the Portal and the custom software around it, and makes sure it solves the problem it was built for.
Danny Arendse
Co-founder
Decades in air cargo and freight forwarding. Danny leads sales and partnerships, and knows the compliance side of logistics from the inside.
