About SimpliSoft

We take the slowest parts of how a company works and make them easy. Most of our clients are logistics companies moving serious volume, alongside startups that need to build properly from the start. We are a small team on purpose: short lines, fast decisions, and no layers between you and the person using what you built.

What you will work on

• SimpliAgents: agents built for one job each, such as quoting from a tariff list or writing customer emails, working from a client's own documents.
• Reporting and search on top of the data in our Portal, so people get an answer instead of an export.
• Finding out whether it actually works: test sets from real cases, and measuring quality before and after every change.
• Keeping cost in view, for us and for the client, per agent and per month.
• Choosing what runs where: hosted models through APIs or models on our own hardware, depending on what the data allows.

How we build

TypeScript on both sides: React and Next.js, Node.js and PostgreSQL. Linux and Docker on our own servers in Europe; client data does not go to the large cloud providers. Mistral is our default model, and the choice per job is part of your work.

How we work

• We move fast. You ship to production in your first weeks, with review.
• We use AI tooling every day, and you stay critical of what it produces. The code with your name on it is yours.
• You are close to the client: on calls, hearing the real problem.
• Feedback is direct and about the work, and we expect it back.
• Not everything is documented. Try it, look it up, then ask. Getting stuck is fine, staying stuck quietly is not.

What we are looking for

• You have built AI features that real people use, and you can show them. No specific diploma or years of experience.
• You know where language models go wrong, and you design for it: retrieval, tools, guardrails and evaluation.
• You write production code other people can read and maintain. TypeScript is what we use; if your background is another language, you are happy to switch.
• You can tell when a simple rule or query beats a model, and you say so.
• Dutch internally, and good English for our international clients.
• You live within reasonable travel distance of Amsterdam and can be on site regularly.
